Alignment Change !!!!
In hell i noticed that my alignment changed from Lawful Good to Netural Evil...

Really annoying how much worse the "good" path is. No fighter is going to want to pass up the strength bonus, and besides everyone wants to kill Sarevok again. I'm never too keen on sacrificing the point of dex. And Blackrazor is just too cool, although I think I prefer the good bonus for that test.
Of course, the immunity to +1 and below weapons is in the good path, and that's very nice as well...

You have to force him to attack you (Good).Originally posted by loner72:

Let him piss you off and attack him first(Bad)
I don't know of any way to get around him not dying.

it's all about the consequence of the actions we take. people tend to believe that if you make the right choice you get a good consequence. but in real life it is not always the case. remember in irenicus' dungeon? when you meet up with the djinn who asked the question about who you will sacrifice? yourself or your sister? the good will always do the right thing, no matter the consequence. good does not always mean nice, people.
serevok will attack no matter what. it depends on whether you give in to your hate or merely defended youself, which in turn affects your alignment.

Are there any serious side effects to being a neutral evil paladin? It just doesn't seem right but you have to give up the dexterity point so you don't fall but other than that, is there any real consequence? Just Worndering.

Do you really lose your paladin abilities when you become evil? I knew you did if you actually became a fallen paladin but I didn't know that just the alingment change without an actual class change (sort of) has no real affect. I did not, however, really pay any attention to my abilities when this happened to me. I noticed it and immediately reloaded.

1. A fallen (i.e., evil) Paladin or Ranger loses his special abilities and becomes, in fact, a fighter.
2. It does not matter much whether you end as good or evil - as far as you do not want to save your character(s) for ToB. The end of the game is at hand and it is unessential whether you service Irenicus as a LG or NE hero.

There are about six bugs with the whole Tears Of Bhaal thing. One if them is that paladins and rangers don't fall on any of the tests but the Selfish (sacrificing player 2 or an innocent) test. So you end up with a Neutral Evil paladin or ranger with all their abilities intact. Also two of the tests give the wrong result (Selfish and Greed.)
