If you know what to expect from a dragon fight, then it is much easier. It is just a matter of experience in my opinion.

In my solo game with an UH the three dragons i fought (Red,Shadow and Black) went down on my first try.I didn't fight Adalon and the Hell dragon, because it is not appropriate for a paladin IMO.

P.S: It was in a game with exp cap active (max lvl=17) in normal difficulty and no cheating like fake talk.

At what level did you beat the the red dragon, and with what weapon? Because right as soon as you get the Holy Avenger the game shifts in your direction and the other dragons seem alot easier.

Level 16 or 17 (i don'r remember exactly).

The weapon combo was Flail of ages + Belm= 5 att/round unhasted,9 with imp haste with the ring of Gaxx.(But i didn't use Imp haste in this battle!)

Actually this is the combo i used in all dragon fights and not Carsomyr (Slow effect and hitting through stoneskin is a major plus for the Flail)

Nice combination. Very creative, I was expecting you to use dragon specific weapons, but your level an the weapons explains the 1-2 punch. The flail also has a chance to slow the target (no saving throw) . If you can swing at him 6 (adjustment for being slowed) times for every 1 of his hits. You have the better option. But @ lvl 16/17, it seems pretty high for my paladin to get the holy avenger.
