weapon acts like a +2 item

Short sword called 'silencer'

1d6+3
silences magically the person/being that gets hitted by the blade, no save.

And it's easy to come up with a short background for this one :D :D :D

Blade of the Hunter -

A powerful Weapon forged during the Time of Troubles. It was rumoured to be enchanted to help a God defend himself while he walked the lands in Human form. It is also rumourd that this could be the blade that led to the demise of Bahl, though evidence for these theories has never been produced.

Magically Exempt from class restrictions, useable by anyone of True Neutral and above.

Longsword +5

THACO: + 5
Damage: 1d10

Abilities: Immunity to Charm
+ 20% Magic Resistance
+ 10% Fire/Cold/Acid resistance
+ Infravision

Warrior Bonues
Strikes like 2handed sword 1d12+5

10% Chance hit will result in triple damage

Thief Bonuses

Pierce magic on hit(removes resitance ?)

+2 *'s in long sword
Only acts as +1long sword vs good alinged charectors

Gauntlets: These are almost the same as weapon mastery, just reverse Thac0 and damage. No problem here.

There is wyvern armour in the game, Ashen Scales +2 Splint mail. 25% MR, Regen, Neg Plane Protection, and +2 Con all from your armour? Neg reaction from wyverns is meaningless, they're semi-intelligent and will be wanting to eat you regardless.

Dagger: Imagine what this would do when a F/M is dual wielding it with Crom Faeyr. Ouch that's gotta hurt! Actually, dual wielding it with anything, since 5 1/2 of the attacks would come from the other weapon. Even a straight mage would become a vicious fighter with this and a good Str belt.

Maybe this all goes to show how tricky it can be to balance items. Plus, I don't think cheesemage is really serious about the +12 Hackmaster :p

As for mine, I sort like the idea of a more predictable and powerful version of Harbringer...

Blaze of Glory
+4 Two-Handed Sword
+4 Thac0, 1d10+4 damage
Each successful hit unleashes a 10d6 fireball centered on the target. :cool:

For balance the fireballs could be 4d6 or 6d6, maybe not every his, but 5% isn't frequent enough to really be useful. Lots of fun with Dragonscale and Ring of Fire Control! Be careful about where your teamates are though!! :D :D

All i can say is that i hope forcemaster was joking...

IMHO although you'll be powerful in ToB, and this thread was not my idea, please limit those weapon/equipment suggestions to smth reasonable.

With all respect craig, that longsword of hope would be better if you'd reduce the special abilities and put even a 1d10 damage just my opinion though :) :)

But not if you use it with the Protector Belt! :p

The dagger looks more reasonable now, though I don't know about turning a mage into a fighter. The armour would still be far and away the best in the game. I'm still not even going to start with the longswords
