MOD Question
MOD Question
I just got Kelsey and was gonna get a couple of the large quest/npc/kit addons, and I wanted to know if there were any that were NOT compatible with Kelsey. TIA

I've had major problems with Tashia and Kelsey together, but the diffficulty doesn't seem to lie on Kelsey's side. It's only fair to note that many people haven't encountered this.

According to the Kelsey ReadMe file:
"Kelsey is reported compatible with The Darkest Day. Install The Darkest Day FIRST."
"Kelsey is reported compatible with The Darkest Day. Install The Darkest Day FIRST."
Resistance to Tyrants is Service to God.
Kelsey should work with either TDD, SOS, or TS, but yes, you must install those mods BEFORE Kelsey, or any other WeiDU-based mods for that matter.

What about my lovetalk-hacking suggestion... Have you tried it?
Any luck?

Where we came from, we don't know
Where we're going.... (even worse)
And about who we could be, we actually have trouble in clearly defining the term "to be" in the first place...

I may have missed that. Could you repost it?

It's in the "Non existent dialog preventing save" thread... well I can copy it here if you want...
*Edit: here it is...
Hello @Fable... here are the latest news:
The two silly dwarves "are" a lovetalk, no less
(I finally met them).
So "standard" tricks to skip/kill them don't work...
But you can try CLUAConsoleSetGlobal("LoveTalk","LOCALS",31) with mouse pointer on Tashia to progress to the next lovetalk.
They caused no problem to my game, but jumping to next lovetalk should cause no problem as well...
(I tried it on my pc, dwarves shouldn't appear and she should start a lovetalk about war).
You may also want to set Tashiaplot,GLOBAL to 10 (it should happen automatically, but just to be safe...)

Interesting. I'll give it a try, thanks. I should be able to give it a whirl tonight, with any luck.
Concerning the Tashiaplot global you refer to: is that something I can also set using CLUAConsole, or do I need something else to get into the code? As I think I mentioned before, here, the only code I've ever worked on was a relatively simple C-like clone used for Dragonrealms, and I wasn't their most stellar programmer type.

User's rule of thumb is to install older mods first. Wished I had known that earlier, as I also faced the same issue as Fable with installing Kelsey before Tashia. BTW, Fable had some trouble with Kelsey's data problem which might be of interest to you here.

You can set it by just typing
CLUAConsoleSetGlobal("TashiaPlot","GLOBAL",10)
or with shadowkeeper, like for the lovetalk one.

well I already put Kelsey in, any way to uninstall it? I most likely won't be getting SOS or DD for a while anyways, everytime I wanna gt it theres a 2 hr wait, and I'll get halfway and something'll go wrong..

...then why uninstall Kelsey?
You can re-run the Setup-Kelsey.exe but if you're not putting in SOS or TS, why?
