Yeah a fair bit, although my g/f got stung a lot worse before. But I'm a sucker when it comes to pain. :o I got stung whilst playing in the shallows, just before coming home too I should add. :rolleyes:

I saw them when I went on holiday to Israel - they're nasty things that look like floating plastic bags and their sting is like a burn or something.

Well, you should know what the sting feels like!

Could they kill a person?

Yes, box jellyfish which are little ones which live off our coast can cause death. Here is some info on the nasty little things.

I met a less venomous one though. ;)
