twin lamps

is the 'twin lamps' and actual faction in morrowind?--dumb question but i was kind of curious.

It is. Thre are rumors you may become something alike "associate member" (not a game term), and there is the group actually proclaiming they're from Twin Lamps. Had no luck, anyway. No matter how many slaves i had freed, in best case i was getting the password none cared to ask me for (or reverse, i's asked without "knowing" the right answer in other game). IMHO the matters in this are messed in the game. I'm even not sure if it might be the relict of some supposed and unfinished plot.

But Duke Dren´s daughter ask´s you the password, and you can do few missions for Twin Lamps.

In my experience either she does not ask or nobody reveals it to me. There should be very specific sequence both things to happen i've never found out.

She asked me after doing the Bal Molagmer quest. First I did not know the answer, but asked again about slavery, and when I knew the answer, she gave me the missions. They came to journal under House Hlaalu quest, even though I wasn´t a member.

Mission where you help khajjit from Daedric ruins NE of Ald Velothi to ship, dodging/killing/bluffing three slave hunters. Odd. In Dren plantation I just killed all guards, and freed all slaves
