Question about Merchants

Post by JMettley »

Is anybody aware of a merchant who's got a big enough bankroll to buy some of the stuff I've collected? For example, I've got a glass axe and a daedric spear, each valued for at least 20,000, that my character doesn't need or want to lug around. When I try to sell it, the merchant winds up short by at least 10,000. I think the most cash I've seen any merchant carry is about 4000.

Anywho, a reply would be appreciated.

Without the expansion, the only merchants who have large amounts of gold are the Creeper in Caldera (5,000) and the Crab merchant located on an island east of Bal Fell (10,000).

I usually save the high-value items for recovering some of my money from enchanters after I have them enchant an item for me.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

True, crab and Creeper. They are remarkable also because the buy and sell for face value, so you lose nothing selling and buying the same item. So you can sell some less expensive items, then some more expensive bartering the first ones back and then sell them once more. Potions and Dwemer coins very well serve as brass.
