spoil me /cloakwood 1. Aldeth vs senidad

with out spoiling too much, please enlighten me

cloakwood 1 ( map 2200)

mr Aldeth, needed our help, We decided the stand by him in his effort to stay alive.
Some druids showed up & without much remorse we eliminated them.

mr Altdeth gave us 2000 XP extra ,but for us this was not enough
Just before he managed to get of the screen we killed him too.
( cool sword + nice loot)
Does this mean both side quests in chapter 5 are ruined now ?

If so,. which side quest later in your oppinion, is more fun/challeging ?
shall I help the druids, or side with Aldeth?

a cool detail btw :
I saved just after killing the druids in order the try a few scenario's with aldeth.
After saving I approached Aldeht to get my XP-'s .
the man said ; I dont think I have anything to say to you , why dont you leave!

cool! saving too much dont always work, I see ( I wonder what I didnot get earlier in the game knowing this now :- ( )

Weird, if I'm not mistaken you could save as manytimes as you want.
I don't remember what the quests are with that guy,
if you help the druids you get a magic item later on, and if you help the man you get soemthing else.
Or was it the other way around.

Better wait for someone who has a better memory

Side with Aldeth, he gives you a reasonably profitable quest when you get to Baldur's Gate.
Btw, don't forget to loot Aldeths cabin in Cloakwood.

Side with druids, not realy nice ring, when you get to BaldursGate you wil get the heavy crossbow of acuracy
