turn undead

i have a cleric with a charisma better then 12, but it dosen't seem that he is succesful turning undead- why is that?
i tried but it does not affect any undead creature!

some undead are more resistant to turning, you can only affect a certain ammount of undead hit dice, in hof mode you will never turn undead.

you may not have quite enough cleric levels yet.

or how close is your cleric to the undead? they could be just out of range?

what kind of undead are you trying to turn anyways?

1.when i last turned- my cleric was 4th lvl i think and he tried to turn zombies that were very close to him.
2.what is that mode you mentioned?
