I have a DVD drive and a CD-recordable drive, that are E and D respectively. Then my other computer blew up, so I took the DVD out so I could fix it... Played BGII a few times running off of D... After putting it back in, BGII no longer works correctly - It used to run solely off of the DVD drive, E. Now, I start the game and (assuming I don't have the BGII CD in the drive) it asks me to put it into E. The game loads, but as soon as I try to leave the area, it tells me the wrong CD is in drive D, and placing the requested CD in that drive has no effect. In other words, it's gotten confused now - at startup, it wants the CD in E - then in D during the game - but doesn't work after requesting the CD in D... Anyone know what happened, or how I can correct this?
thanks!
cdrom drives - BGII hates me - any hints?
