after the first dark brotherhood attack, talk to any guard, and they will advise you to go talk to someone in ebonheart....

Don't be to eager to go to Mournhold. You have to be super powerful to succeed in many of its quests. A CE levitation enchanted item is a must IMO so you can cruise around in some of Mournhold's subterranean areas. Besides, I like to milk the assassin attacks for as long as I can. Try levitating up to the top of a pillar at a draedic shrine and sleeping. The assassins will be on the ground below you, easy targets for a bow. Or climb up on that natural stone arch/bridge across the river near Gnissis and sleeping up there. The assassins appear and I jump into the river. Or sleep in a cave next to a locked slave compound. I've had the assassins appear inside the compound trapped like dogs. There are a lot of ways to get assassins to appear where they are screwed. Plus their armor can be cashed in for some nice bucks at the Creepers. I like to wear assassin light armor for most of the early game until I can steal Savior's Hide and glass armor. Early in the game your best offense against assassins is a powerful, unrelenting HTH attack - just punch them silly so they can't use their jink swords on you.

Thank's for the warning.
Well, I did take a short trip to Mournhold. I was killed by a theater audience . :D
Btw, where do I find Savior's Hide? I think I have heard it's name before, but I've never found it...

obike, if you like star trek, you will seriously love the daedric cresent...

it looks just like a klingon batt let...

in fact, its not even all that good a weapon, i use crysmere and auriel's bow almost exclusively, but i grab it cause it looks so cool...that dremora is no slouch, tho...

i seriously advise you to get the amulet of shadows, or make some nice chameleon effect amulets and rings...will improve your stealing too...hehhehhe

or just check in the options always execute best attack....sorry...had to add that...

looks pretty good, sorta got that predator/alien thing going...

are there different styles of glass helmets???

i think so, hmmm..you might try switching to daedric helm of terror, should look good with ensamble...

i mean the very best armor in the game, ebony mail, looks really bad....

so i sorta cover up everything with robe of drake pride...only my padded shoulders are visible, so i usually enchant a daedric left and right pauldroon with damage health spells, that makes them glow red and swirly, got the evil eyes mounted on my shoulders thing going...

but one thing that really bothers me is the god aweful graphics they made for exquisite robes...does anyone have a easy and fun way to switch out the robe appearances???

i want to make a simple personal plugin to switch out the god aweful yellow robe pattern they use on the robe of drake's pride, for one of the extravagent robes...you know, the one where it looks like there is some alien creature mounted on the front of your robe????

that is my favorite wearing robe, too bad....

if i get too annoyed later, i can create a robe with mondo mondo enchant points and duplicate it...oh well....but if some kind soul will give me directions for switching out the robe pattern i will be grateful....

then i can switch out the pattern for ebony mail for daedric plate, which looks so much better...

thanks!!!

i do use crysmere sword, but i never use the enchantment on the sword at all...its just got great stats for damage, best two handed sword in game, better than a daedric battle axe..and weighs less, i think...

spoiler

its in a nasty place called abanabi, sw of sadrith mora as the crow flies...water walk or levitate...

i was going to get it tonite, as i had just modified it...

instead of the sucky defense spells, of spell absorbtion and shield..yukkkkk...

i made it carry a differnet custom enchantment...it is now identical to the scroll of fierce roasting...hehheheh....

you know, that artifact level scroll in the imperial cult quest, the one i fondly call "town killer"????

18 to 81 fire damage for 5 seconds in 100 ft radius...
identical weakness to fire spell, same everything...

its actually got draw backs to using it,...it nukes the target, so you cant use it near a town or neutral npcs....

hehhehheheh....

it now carries a massive 1000 charge, and can fire this 300 point spell 3-4 times at my present enchantment skill...

but i got distracted by this....

home.wnm.net

just downloaded two body mods, and now i must restart the new adventures of bun bun....

the customized (by me!!!) using console cheats only....

it now has every ability and special powers, all the good ones, of every single race and sign....

like arenaline rush, used by my breton, or woad, and orc berserkergang.....

i can fight like a red guard, charm beasts like a woodelf, and charm people like a imperial...

also gave my favorite armor in the game, ebony plate, its powers to a set of daedric plate...looks so much better, i love the powers of ebony plate, but hate the looks....and with my new travanni black skull covered robes, and a cool cape and cowl, i look like the archetypical travanni butt kicker enforcer...

tes, i dont understand the details, but switching enchantments is fun and easy....

sign, need to recompile and start a new game for maximum trouble free play...fortunately, i just started a new game today, and i wanted to edit some more stuff anyway...
