Chapter 6 - Bugged?

Ok, I seem to have run into an impossible problem within Chapter 6.

After escaping the Underdark I get taken to the Elven camp, and speak with the Elhan (or whatever). After we're done talking, the party is immediately approached by a Harper named Reviane, and no matter what dialog options are chosen she ends up attacking us with her group of Harpers. But in doing this, for some reason, all the elves in the camp (Elhan included) also turn aggressive towards us automatically. The Harpers are easily dealt with, but as soon as one of the elves is hit, a war mage ports in and promptly applies an instant death touch to the main character.

I've tried leaving the map straight away after I'm done talking with Elhan, which works to a certain extent. I went and killed Bodhi and got the lantern, but when I go back to the elf camp to return the item, the elves are still aggressive toward me.

Looks like I'm fucked, huh?

Hmmmmm...

Yeah kinda... Don't you have an earlier savegame? Because I met the Harper's just outside the copper coronet. But you could also try leaving Jaheira just before entering the woods from the Underdark (and then leave her forever since she sucks @$$! The only reason I have her is because of the quests she gives me

Ahh, so it only happens with Jaeheira in your party?

I have a save just before the ritual in the Drow city, which is close enough. I can dump off Jaeheira after that.

And you're right, she is a bit terrible. I've got her high in level though, which is why I was a bit reluctant to have her leave. All this Harper stuff is almost as annoying as that whiney Imoen though

Hehe, yeah, Imoen is a whiner! Big time!! She's a real puss...

Anyway, I would suggest that you save before you leave Jaheira, because I'm not 100% sure that it will work, but it's worth the try

With the high lvl Jaheira... I dumped Jaheira when I had her on lvl 16. I took Valygar instead, as lvl 12... lol

Ok, I just tried this and it works. I don't get attacked by the Harpers until I meet up with Jaeheria again in Athkatla

And even better - the "Underdark Exit" area seems to be the only trigger for Drow equipment to turn into dust. So if you offload all the armour/weapons to a party member and dump them off they will still have the armour intact when you pick them up again (just remember you'll be going back to that area once you've defeated Bodhi, and the same applies).

Looks like they could have handled the drow equipment turning to dust better. I had hoped I could stash it in a bag of holding then take it out whenever I was underground...Bohdi's lair for example.

Looks like you whackes Galvarey and never complete the Quest which says Jaheira must return to Harpers Hold. Heh....that should be trigger the thing afetr you meet Dermin that told you those things. Any idea how to complete this quest beside dumping Jaheira ?

Well, in fact I did trigger the quest that way that it was finished (I'm on my 2nd time through). This time no one escaped the building

But I don't know how to complete it, possible bug...

Bordin mate, i have completed the quest u refer to. Just frag everyone in the Harper building level 1 after that u can do the other quest.

Mean time u can check your done quest and u can see the quest is done. But unfortunately those wretched Jarpers now come again and again till Dermin shows up telling Jaheira about the bounty for the party. Now that trigger a new quest...i forgot the quest name but it seems i'm quite stuck there. Any idea ?

I don't know, cos when I met Dermin, I got Jeheira convinced to quit the Harpers, and so she did. After that I dumped her, that Bitch
