Really lame question

Post by Rahvin »

Um, I'm in Ch1 about to head to the horde fortress, and one of my sorcerors is diseased and slowed. I can't cure him, and I can't find someone who has a cure diease spell. Where can I find one?

I believe the clerics in the tent in the main part of Targos sell cures like that.

if you don't have a charecter with a cure disease spell, or you don't have something that cures disease or slow, simply head backward and find someplace to rest :)

Rest hasn't worked, and the guys in the tents don't have anything about diseases. Is it a glitch?

Try restoration from the priests, it's only 60 and might cure the problem.

One question though, are you still actually suffering from disease or is the icon there and the effects having ended? I remember this sometimes happened on BG where you would have it telling you that you were poisoned but you didn't actuall lose any HP.

The potion you are looking for is called Mummy's Tea for some reason, why it isn't called Cure Disease I don't know.

Funny you should mention that Sleepy, one of my characters has carried the "diseased" symbol for four chapters now, but is losing no HP *shrugs* Not even a heal spell will rid her of it, it must be a bug ;)

There is but one solution I can think of....blow up your computer and run for the hills.

Failing that, if it really bothers you export your character and reimport them, that should get rid of it. Or infect them with a disease again and then cure it, that might also work.
