Godfather: Shares # 1 on my list of movies. So it's the greatest movie of all times, although it shares that honor with several other movies.
Pt. 2: Although often said to be better than thje original, IMO it's no where near as good.
Pt. 3: Rather pathetic. Has nothing worth seeing, except for a few great vintage Pacino scenes.

Empire of The Sun: Very good movie. Although I think it gets a bit tedious towards the end, it has some great scenes, great preformances by Christian Bale, John Malkovich, Joe Pantoliano (Joey Pants) and Ben Stiller (small part, but worth a mention).
It also has a wonderfull (BAFTA winning) John Williams score. If you want to get hooked, some how get a hold of the track 'Jim's new life'.

I've actualy never seen Pi. I loved Aronofsky's (SP) Requiem for a Dream, but never thought I'd like Pi. Could you give a short, spoiler free summary?

Goodfellas: My favorite Scorsese. A brilliant movie, which should have swept the oscars if it weren't for the way overated Dances with wolves. I know most people would choose Taxi Driver or Raging Bull, but I love gangsters, and could tell you anything you want to know about them.

Matrix: One of the most overated movies of all time. Simply a SFX vehicle. Give me Dark City over Matrix any day.

A few of my own:

Dr. strangelove
The Man that shot Liberty Valance
Patton
The French Connection
Raiders and Crusade
Schindler's List
A Man for all Seasons
Dogma
The Rock
Great Expectations (David Lean's)
The Bridge on the River Kwai
Lawrence of Arabia
The guns of Navarone
The Caine Mutiny
12 Angry Men
A Rebel Without a cause
Stalag 17
Some Like it Hot
It Happened one night
It's a wonderfull life

....to name one or two
"Veni,Vidi,vici!"
(I came,I saw,I conquered!) Julius Ceasar

Ok, I'm not going to wade through 200 posts of SPAM :p

I'll add City Of God, the recent Brazillian hit which was nominated for a Golden Globe.

Donnie Darko, time travel rocks

Nosferatu, big fan of the original one. Max Shreck is still an imposing actor on film.

Can't stand The Matrix either, damn nerdy action flick :p :D ;)

Clearly, this is greatest movie ever. Kayless should know. ;)
Icewind Gate II Improved engine, third edition rules and the full BG2 storyline.

If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.

Love is a perky elf dancing a merry little jig and then suddenly he turns on you with a miniature machine gun.

Neo if you read this can you please please please please for the love of God please change the color of your posts? Blue is too dark for this background, and I find it difficult to read without highlighting it. It's too hard on the eyes and gives me a headache. If you demand a blue color change it to something lighter which is more readable like SlateBlue, MediumSlateBlue, RoyalBlue, DodgerBlue, DeepSkyBlue, LightSkyBlue, or even SteelBlue... you get the idea..
Thanx.

Vicsun, I certainly agree with your assertion that you are an unpleasant person. ~Chanak
