Okay, if you have gotten here, it's your own doing.
After returning the bird to Xzar, you find out it's an assassin, and not his friend. After finishing the game for the first time I created numerous items using the CLUAConsole thingy ... and one of the miscellaneous items was the body of Montarro. Did anybody ever found this corpse IN THE GAME (so not through cheating items)??

Yes! Montaron's body is stashed in one of the Locked chests (at the foot of one of the beds), in the room South of the giant birdcage. You need reeaaally good lockpick skills to open it though. If Yoshimo hasn't leveled up yet I don't think his starting lockpick skill isn't sufficient to pick it...
Next time through I'll try to actually grab his body and bring it out to Xzar and see what happens...

Well the Monty body can only be seen after Xzar died by the assasin, and then you go back in the Harper Hold and search for more. I tried this thing for 3 times and the result is same all over again. BTW my thief have 200 picklock ability last time...heh i edit the stat since i'm very curious about this Monty thing too. Well anybody got different result ?

I can now confirm the story of the body only appearing AFTER Xzar has met an untimely end. My brother got there on his second pass, was interested in this as well, and got this result. The corpse is only generated AFTER Xzar died ... and the text of the corpse also indicates you are supposed to read it AFTER the assassination.
