Haven't been around for ages. How ironic, McBane, you should mention my name. I just read through the "upcoming war" thread for a little insight from some of the more intelligent folks I've come across (other than myself  )

OMG, and I used a smilie.

@ Ned, as Mah said you were lurking, I assumed you haven't been here much. This is probably the 3rd time I've been on since December.

@ Fas - good luck on your trip. Perhaps a drink for the road??

Hey Ned!

I was gone for a while and came back, then Weasel came back... now you. (Coincidence?) Glad to see you. We've missed your posts and your shine.

Hi Voodoo. thx.

Yes, McBane, moi aussi, I've only visited about 5 times since before thanksgiving.

I've been a busy boy and have set a lofty goal of contracting emphysema by the age of 35.

Oooo! Look at the time, 10 am. Time for a smoke break.

@ DW - Is anything more compelling than the experience of Southern culture. It's like reality tv, except its real...

@ HLD - How are things? Are you here on a more permanent basis...IIRC, your new job was distracting you from SYM.

@ Ned - You aren't training hard enough. Did you miss the 10:15 smoke break??

You don't get a hangover if you manage to stay constantly intoxicated. Fortunate for me, I believe I've mastered HST's concept of becoming a mobile pharmacy with an innate talent for consistently prescribing the proper medication for the evening, or morning, as duty calls.

I missed the 10:15 smoke break because I had two at 10.

Woohoo! it's almost 11:00 and to think I just got back from the 10:45 2 doobie coffee break.

Today's my day off. Sadly, the people where I work now actually audit everyone's internet activity, so my SYM time has been cut drastically. I've been aroud a little bit, but not as much as I'd like.

Of course, I do less work at work that I do when I'm off. My wife has decided that she needs to remodel the kitchen, so she's been painting and I'm trying to figure out how to pull up the carpet in the kitchen and put down some laminate wood flooring.

Plus the local Little League has shanghaied me to be one of the league umpires, so I've been going to clinics to learn all of the Little League rules and how to be an ump.

Plus, when you're southern, you get to hit on the cousin you'd think was hot if you weren't related and it's okay . . .

ROFL ! :D
Of course, it should be stated that while most cultures have an incest taboo, the actual definition of incest varies from place to place. Some cultures, in fact, perceive marriage between first cousins to be the ideal union... ;)

Uh oh.. I may have just justified BS's interest in cousin Mary Jane! :D

There are places around here where you can find 50 people and one last name. All that's missing are flippers and sagittal crests.

 I wonder if that partly explains BS's comfort in inhabiting a largely liquid medium?
