Please Help with Drider Heart-thingie

Post by Mostly Baffled »

Has anybody had this problem, or have a fix? I have killed all the driders and what's-her-name the alchemist wizard and her suped-up driders/flesh golems. I am now supposed to create a poison that kills the heart (Visa-whats-is). The problem is, I only have a sorceress in my party and although I think someone in my party has limited Alchemy skills, the stupid laboratory only tells me that I should leave.

I have gone back out into the main area, talked to the Drow, talked to the mindflayer and nobody seems to be able to help. I don't want to have to start the game all over again because I didn't chose a wizard. Should it really make a difference?

Anyway, I'd be happy with any help anyone could give me.

Thanks

You don't need the potion to kill the drider-making-creature,
you can just attack it.

But prepare for a big fight.
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

It's been awhile since I did this, but I made the potion without having a wizard in my party. I used a Sorc instead. I think I had my thief or somebody do it. His alchemy wasn't very high as I recall. I had to cycle through my characters one by one til the right one opened the dialog. If that ain't it, like Stilgar said, whack it.

One word af advice if you decide to attack though...kill everything you can possibly kill before you attack it. This fight can become a big mess real fast.

Guess what? I got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell!

Thanks

You were right. I had to use "sure strike weapons", but eventually I was able to kill the heart.
