Hello! Once again i call upon your assistence...

Post by Vintersorg »

I just started a Barbarian, because it seems to be a cool kit that i never used. So, he cannot wear Plate of Fullplate, so i went to gamebanshees page and checked under Scale (Scalemail, he can use that) and i found that all the dragon armors are lsited there. Now i wonder can my Barb use:

Shadow Dragon Scale?
White Dragon Scale?
Red Dragon Scale? (Hoping)

Other than that there was pretty much no Scalemail or Chainmail worth even getting... :(

Thx for any reply
Blah... nothing for me... :)

I think the Red Dragon Scales count as Plate Mail, as well as the Blue Dragon Scales...
Shadow Dragon Scales are Leather Armor, White Dragon Scales are Studded Leather.

This is correct. :)

There is, however, a bug that prevents Avenger druids from wearing the Shadow Dragon armor. Not sure if this applies to Barbarians or not, but there is a Baldurdash fix for it.

I think the crimison chain +5 is a decent chain useable by barbarians. Plus if you're evil you can liberate equipment from Drizzt. The orc leather is what I used most of the time, but I almost always had a half orc. In ToB there are the grandmaster, which I believe stacks speedwise, and the leather of thorns, which isn't all that bad. So not all armor is useless. Plus you should have a few hit points.

Well, I havn't played in a while, but I seem to recall a human skin leather armour. I never used it, because I was never that evil, but I'm pretty sure it was decent.
Vicsun, I certainly agree with your assertion that you are an unpleasant person. ~Chanak

Yes, but you won't get that until after the Underdark, and you do have to slay

A silver dragon for it, as well as solve the riddle of the merchant in the Umar Hills after you chased the bridge dsitrict murderer out of the Bridge district.

Anyway, I like the Aegis Hide as well.

exellent armour! available very early, and i ended up using it during the final ToB battles with my stalker, as all the resistancies turned up to be more useful than AC.
