Depends. You've played before, so you may want to handicap your various party members to make the game more of a challenge. Up to you.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
You mean you're changing her to the Archer kit right? The best way that I can think of to change the class of a character is to start them off at level 0 - without any abilities/prof/etc. - and leave the current XP as it is; they'll level up to the appropriate level when you start the game. That way you'll get all the abilities and bonuses that you're supposed to - including things that you can't add with Shadow Keeper, at least not very easily.

2 things to note when you change a character to level 0.
1. Set the both hp feilds to 1 (you can't set them to 0) then level up. If you get a chance, go back in and get rid of the extra hp.
2. You don't get your starting proficiencies. So in the case of a ranger, give yourself the 2* in 2 weapon style, and 4 others. When you level up, you will get the rest.
