How do you kill the fallen bladesingers?

Post by MageUk »

Hi all,

I've just killed the red wizard Saablic Tan and all his cronies, but then these fallen bladesingers come running up. The problem I have is killing them, every hit I make doesn't seem to touch them, the majority of my party are levels 14/15, the bladesingers don't really give me time to cast any spells before they start attcking me with a lot of hacking and slashing....

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

I haven't gotten to that point of the game (jet) but I have encountered some pretty difficult fights (unlike in the BG-series a large group of hobgoblins can give you alot of trouble)

I asssume you have casted every protection spells there is before the fight? (stoneskin comes in mind, just like grouphaste, hope and alot of others)
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

I've just defeated the mentioned party, including the Bladesingers, who actually came rushing in during the battle with Saablic Tan, not after. And I have to say, I had no problems whatsoever. They do deal out considerable damage, but they take the hits just like anyone else. My party was lvl 14/15 (fighter, barbarian, ranger, rogue, cleric, sorcerer; all turned 15 after that battle) and there wasn't even any need for healing during the battle. I only used my usual battle buffs (Group Haste, Blessing, Protection from Evil, Protection from Fear) and it was just a usual battle.

Is it possible that it's a bug of some sort? Or perhaps some debuff cast on your party by Saablic or his priest that you didn't notice?

Yeah it was probably something cast on me that I didn't notice the first time.

I've beaten them now though.

Thanks
