NPC Flirt Packs V0.9 Released!

Forgotten Wars has released Version 0.9 of the NPC Flirt Packs, including for the first time Viconia flirts for both Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal. Also included are Spanish, French, and German translations for the Aerie and Jaheira flirt packs.

For those of you unfamiliar with the "flirt" concept, they add depth and spice to the existing Bioware romance tracks, creating new interludes and conversations between the Bhaalspawn and his beloved.

Flirt packs also add new epilogues for Aerie, Jaheira, and Viconia--six in total.

The Anomen flirt pack is now under development.

Also just released is the Jasper St. Baird player soundset, which gives the style and charm of the Dungeon-Be-Gone guide to any character you choose. Download from http://www.forgottenwars.net/audio

how is nalia romance going?

you've stated several times the nalia romance will be next project for you, and you want to get the flirt packs done before starting on that...

and as i have always been dissatisfied with the brevity of the original nalia romance pack, and i have enjoyed the original very very much, especially the (deleted) scene...loved minsc's reaction....i actually have been looking foward to the nalia romance than the flirt packs...

but i have played out much of the previous aerie and jahiera flirt packs and enjoyed them very much....

Well, I still have to get the Anomen flirt pack out the door before I can really commit to Nalia.

No, new game is not required. However, simply so you see as much of the content as possible, I recommend you play from as early in the romance as you can.

Urrmmm.... I installed the latest Flirt Pack version yesterday night and guess what? It appears that the items in Shadow Keeper are messed up again with funny descriptions. I have not installed any other mod prior to that.

Could you please advise what went wrong? I loathe to go thru another uninstall/install of BG2 again.

It has been asserted that ShadowKeeper gets wonky when a lot of content gets added to the game (this has long been a known issue with TDD and SK, for instance) but I've not really heard of it happening in a many-WeiDU-mod scenario, and it works on my system over here. I really don't know what to tell you. Are things corrupt in game?

Nothing corrupted in the game. I guess I have to revert to an earlier save to see if the items there are ok in sk. Gosh, this is really a pain.

Thanks for the Viconia release JC, the dialogs are great and fit her character perfectly so far.

I'm curious, did you disable the reputation break for Viconia?

I think the rep break should be disabled once the romance reaches a certain point.

Anyway, good job to you and the others that are working on this, good stuff!

No, we don't mess with the reputation break. Nobody breaks in TOB, which you can consider a proxy for that behavior, I'm reluctant to try to tamper with it.

Can't really say any thing myself, just downloaded flirt 9 to “try out’ Viconia , I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart ( or is that a hard spot in my pants)for the nasty princess trained in the erotic arts type of women…*sigh*
