Another one from Manila here! (22yo)

Earliest RPG memory would be "Challenge of the Five Realms" I think from SSI way way back when! great game! Also played some early dnd crpgs like "Dark Sun", "Al-Quaddim", etc. though my actual table-top rpg experience started with vampire: the masquerade from white wolf. I only recently got to appreciate the dnd system with BG2!
:) Can't wait for Throne of Bhaal and Neverwinter Nights!

I'm living in Germany, and have played BG I and II, PS:T, and Icewind Dale.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

I'm from Chicago, Illinois, USA. I'm a 23 year old female, and I didn't get into RPG's on the PC until I started playing BGII back in November. And I must say, this is the coolest game I've ever played

I'm From Oz too dude :) 21 and my first RPG was fallout 2 :) Bought the Original Baldur's Gate with included Tales of The Sword Coast shortly after and have been hooked ever since. And of course been playing BG2 since September 28 of last year, when it first came out! (yes yes, I memorised the day, it was of course one of the greatest days in history after all!) :D Ah the many sleepless nights beforehand... to finally open that box and smell the goodness! :D
Cartoon Law III
Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

I'm 23, from Athens, Greece. The first CRPG
I ever played was Might and Magic 3 on the Megadrive/Genesis and then I thought it was the best game ever. It took me several years (and some more M&M sequels) to realise how wrong I was, and how lousy these games were...

I think Ultima 7 was a really great game, as far as I remember it was the first to have NPCs with carefuly detailed personalities, it even featured a romance for your PC. Too sad following Ultimas were not that good.

I bought BG1 about a a year and a half ago and I liked it a lot, though I was not that enthusiastic about it, and I must admit that I grew bored sometime during the game. But BG2 is an entirely diferrent story. It simply rules (I currently am at my 3rd run through), and ever since I finished it for the first time I was hesitating to start another RPG. Let's see if Torment changes my mind...
