killer cheeze

Post by hwttdz »

I was just looking through another post and saw something about how much you could break the rules of the game. I think everyone has run into arkanis gath (the killer variety) at least once. His sword 1) sticks whereever you put it 2) kills anything first shot and has decent range. I know there are some things in shadowkeeper that make people unable to die but I don't think any of it is obtainable without going through shadow keeper. Question is what of this stuff can you get?

I think you could get the sword if you 1) killed gath 2) stood over the sword and equipped it in the active weapon slot immediately from the inventory.

I think I killed him by using Haer Dalis and time stop traps and dexterity draining him to death.

I added Arkanis Gath to my party, and 1) he was permanently hasted 2) he was programmed to follow my char all the time 3) his sword of backstabbing is undroppable 4) he can kill from far away like missile (but prot from magic weapons might do the trick) 5) he has very good stats: lvl 20/20 fighter thief with a thac0 of -6.

I killed Arkanis with the shapechange to mindflayer trick (also attribute drain :D )

So the sword WITH Arkanis is killing, don't think sword itself is that good.

The sword without him is also good, but the sword he drops is not THE sword, I think. He holds the "KILSWORD" or something, but I bet he drops a Longsword +2.

The Killsword... I heard about it before, not sure about it....
I checked it with both SK and ingame, it's the short sword of backstabbing +3 he wields, and a +2 he drops (from inventory).

I think the sword he holds is, to speak in non-technical terms, like a dragon's claw: unremovable, undroppable when killed, but WITH description this time. I'm still curious what it is exactly, for I keep guessing...
