While I'm impatiently waiting for the (ridiculously overpriced, but I don't play localized games on principle ) US version of ToB to become available in Germany, maybe some of you lucky addicts who have the game already can answer a few of my burning questions.
Please note: I am only looking for yes/no answers, not true spoilers.
1. Can you meet with Gorion's spirit or at least learn more about Gorion from other sources?
2. Can we kill that backstabbing puddle of pond scum known as Saemon Havarian? I HATE his guts and really want to drag him down to my cozy corner of the Nine Hells and introduce him to some pet demons. Screw alignment penalties, he deserves it.
3. Does the PC regain her BG1 innate abilities (Draw Upon Holy Might is really nice), and can she still transform into the Slayer?
4. Does the PC gain some new innate abilities from her divine essence? I heard that Imoen does ...
5. Is Sarevok useful as a source of information and interesting dialogue? Can you change his attitudes, or does he remain an arrogant murderous bastard?
And finally ...
6. I'm a bit worried about the ending, since I don't want my Good-aligned characters to "have to" sacrifice themselves or give up their essence/powers somehow (I don't think that would or should be possible, though), which seem to be the most "obvious" conclusions. Will I be pleasantly surprised?

Saverok's sword of chaos does nothing. You do learn about your past and gorion is there when it is told. The PC regains slayer transformation but still does not get his innate abilities from BG1. I dont have imoen in my party so I couldn't tell you but I think she does. Saverok....not really but he is a hell of a fighter, he is still a murderous bastard.

1. Yes.
2. Saemon Havarian definitely comes back. I didn't try to kill him, but I think you can.
3. No.
4. Not that I know of (PC abilities that is).
5. Yes and yes and yes (i.e. yes he has interesting dialog, yes you can change him, and yes he can remain a murderous bastard).
6. I don't think I can really give a yes or no. You will probably see the way things are going pretty early along the main storyline. I liked the ending FAR more than any of the previous BG games, for what it's worth, though I still don't think it's exactly a *spectacular* ending. Not that many games have even barely decent endings anyway. ToB's well above average IMHO.
