AI Scripts

Post by dafreak »

I am wondering what AI Script is good for each character and/or class.
I've been having problems with my ai script for yoshimo where he will hide in shadows when he shouldn't be and him saying "everybody is blind to my passing" every five seconds as well as waiting for him to come out of shadows to heal him bugs the hell out of me. He isn't set to thief (defensive) either. I think I set him to thief (passive) or something. I'm kinda curious to see what you guys have set their theif's ai to.

Usually I play with the AI switched completely off.

I was annoeyed too much by my people doing things I absolutely didn't want them to do, especialy by my thiefs charging to attack from half a screen away or switching to ranged weapons when I wanted them to backstab.

i do not remember where i got them. There are two good enough thief scripts you may switch as you need - one (explorer?) he try to find traps, the second (scout?) he always try to hide in shadows whatever happens.

I too play with the AI scripts off most of the time, but I've found they come in handy for mop up. I set everyone's script to aggressive fighter then toggle the AI on after taking control of the battle(when the enemies are all badly wounded or worse). Also handy for taking out weak packs of enemies.

The aggressive fighter script is just about the only one that does as it's supposed to.

I use the default script to keep party members out of trouble, but I switch off the AI whenever I don't want anyone attacking prematurely.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
