henchmen

I'm new to the game and must have missed something during the prelude. Is there anyway to give you henchmen new equipmnet? I tried the old click and drag and it did not work. Did I miss something?

Unfortunately, you cannot manage your henchmen's inventory. The only thing you can do to them is give them potions, issue simple commands, and cast spells on them. In fact, that's one of the things that Neverwinter Nights disappointed me. The AI's bad enough, but without more control it's practically a pain in the butt to keep alive your henchmen.

There is a pack somewhere that allows greater control of your henchman. Unfortunately, I'm don't know where it is. I'm sure someone else does, though.

IRC the first expansion, Shadows of Undrentide, will allow you to manage henchman's inventory and they will have greater AI as well. But your guess is as good as mine as to when that will come out...

There is a utility called "Henchmen Inventory And Battle AI" or similiar by Pausanias. You can get it on NWVault (http://www.nwvault.com) It allows you to manage Henchmen Inventory and features improved AI commands. It works well with the official campaign, give it a try.
