Some very good spells to haev are your 'Restore Attribute" spells. Buy these when ever you find them. Also "Restore Health" and "Restore Fatigue". Get an exquisit ring for each and enchant them with with''Restore" spells. If your a good enough spell caster, you can just cast a spell to restore your attributes, but if not, enchanted items help. There are also potions. If you have "Alsivi Intervention", get to the nearest temple and get a blessing. It is cheap and always effective.
Most of your deseases will damage your stats, so you will still need to get healed even if you restore your attributes. Otherwise, people will be mean to you because you are sick and they don't want to catch it

i have now all the restoration spells perscripted by the doctor... and cruising around mornhold (sp?) before finishing off Mr Dagoth Ur.
i'm somewhat a purist, so i'll leave console codes or TESCKit tweakings out... if that's what you mean with "really get fixed". but thx anyways
btw, somewhere on Vivec's writings, in his palace, it is said that the heart is destroyed using the same ritual that the tribunal and Dagoth Ur used to link themselves to it's power. The difference being that you never get to the third stage of said ritual, which "we'll never teach the Neverine!!" (somewhat quoted with a deep, bad-guy voice ) Would there be any way to learn how to link ourselves to the heart also? Is Sotha Sil (Gotha sil?... Sotha Gil... hm... cant remember the exact spelling... ) anywhere to be seen? He's said to be the one who knows the tools best...
Super Neverine, anyone? I don't really believe this is possible, but it would be a nice twist... defeating the bad guy just to take his place. Then they'd need an Anti-Neverine. That could be a new expansion... ok, i may just be getting a tinny little somewhat off the edge...

I don't use the console except in exceptional circumstances. I meant that I have created special rings to restore attributes.Originally posted by Aliendreams

You will learn of Sotha Sil and the interrelationship between Vivec, Almalexia, and Sotha Sil as you near the end of the Tribunal Quest.
After you finish the Tribunal Quest go and talk to Vivec. He will shed considerable light on what has happened and how it affects Morrowind.
As for Super Nerevarine, check your attributes and skills! Check how easy or difficult it is to kill something! By the time you've finished Tribunal you might indeed be Super Nerevarine. [Now, if I can just get those damned ordinators to show me some respect! "We're watching you...SCUM!" - my ass!]

some NPCs could have a couple more lines of speech...
as to Super Neverine, i'm at the end of the main Morrowind Quest and most creatures can deal no real damage. But taking a trip to Mournhold, at least the few NPCs and creatures i've battled are quite able to stand up a fight... and kill me (i'm at level 39). I slide the difficulty bar back to 40 (was playing at 100). So, when Bloodmoon arrives, I guess you'll have at least some new creatures that will be able to keep it going even for the most hardcore seen-it-all-did-it-all-strong-as-a-train-faster-than-a-bullet player.
I hope...
