How do I reach the Gnoll Stronghold?

I've been trying to reach the gnoll stronghold and can't find a way to get to it. Now I NEED to find it because Minsc is going nuts and attacking me. I read a post that mentioned the Xvart village, which I've cleared. And a wolf cave, which I don't remember. Where is that? Any help would be appreciated.

Leave the Xvart village screen to the west, then leave the screen to the south. You should get a movie of the gnoll stronghold when you reach the right area.

Go west, young man...

The Gnoll Stronghold, area AR5100, is in the SW corner of your map. Just keep slogging that way & you'll get there.

It's correct that there's a movie when you arrive.

Look carefully when searching the stronghold, or you may not find what you seek.

Thanks for all your suggestions, I made it fine following Minerva's suggestions. I ended up having to drop Minsc then pick him back up. Even when I made it to the Gnoll Stronghold, he would still attack me, lol. "Hello? We're here, you big dumb hamster lover!"
