Romances If Your Main Charactor Is Female

I haven't noticed any references or postings here about romances if your a girl playing this game so I figured I'd post about my situation so far. Anomen and my Ranger apparently have fallen madly in love. Personally I think he's a psyco but I guess you can't control EVERYTHING your charactor does. However this is my first run through the game and I just recently picked up Haer'Dalis, who calls me his raven, and Valygar who just started flirtatious dialog with me. I picked up these two rather late in the game and I ended up finishing the game before anything romantic happened with them. I just started a new capaign and I'm going to pick up these two sooner this time. For those of you that are interested (I can't be the only woman playing this game) I'll use this thread to let you know how things turn out.

EDIT: I also found out the the whore house above the Copper Coronet isn't just for the guys. Let's just say there are some "Men of the evening" employed (or should I say enslaved) there as well.

Sorry,
but the only romancable NPC for a female character is Amonem.
Or you could download the flirt-pack and start a lesbian relation.

Thanks for the information guys. That Kesley file is HUGE so I downloaded the Solaufein romance instead.

What is the Tortured Souls mod? I'm new to this game so I have no idea what that is.

I know there are Nalia romance patches you can download but are there any romance patches for male NPCs that are all ready in the game? Like Valygar, Haer'Dalis ect..?

Kelsey's voiced, Sola isn't, that's why the download is heavier

But I think there's also a smaller package for Kelsey, right @JC?

I haven't tried Tortured Souls, but I'm waiting for version 4.00 (new package) to download it.
It'll be a huge download still (about 60MB), but I heard only good things about this mod.
New paths for Yoshimo, a romance NPC for him (Kachiko), new quests and areas in Kara-Tur(sp?).
And more.

I think it should be worth the download time

Kelsey is larger than other NPC mods because he contains voicework. If you enjoy a silent Solaufein, more power to you.

(And no, I am no longer publishing "Lite" versions of Kelsey. The full versions got a lot more downloads, and I am sufficiently proud of our voice work that I don't feel like compromising on it.)

No such smaller add-ons exist. There were attempts to make the Valygar romance component of Tortured Souls stand-alone but it was coded up in such a manner as to make that quite difficult.

Where is the best place to download the Kelsey file? I would much rather have a new NPC with sound than with out. I tried downloading it earlier and I was having problems but I won't bore you with the details.

I've had it for so long I don't remember. I did an internet search for Baldurs Gate Portraits and I stumbled on it and some others that are pretty cool I can't remeber the site though.

Once again thanks for the info. I think I'm going to check out that Tortured Souls site.

Actually there are a lot of mods out there Melisah, either they add quests, NPCs, or improve the artificial
intelligence of your opponents.
And a lot of mods are in a development stage.
You may want to stay tuned with the forums to know more

For Kelsey just try again, I had some problems too

You're right, it was my loss. I downloaded the Kelsey mod night before last and I LOVE IT!

You guys did a great job on it. The only thing I changed was his portrait. The original drawing was really good but I'm partial to dark and mysterious blondes

I'm not sure if the portait I have for him really fits him either. I've actully been debating about it. I'll probably change it when I find one more suitable to his charactor. To tell you the truth, I was just looking for a potrait that resembled my b/f
