I'm having a hard time making up my mind about my party. I have completed the game before, with both a good party and a bad..
This time my mainchar is gonna be a berserker, yes it's common.. but I just don't feel right without a though mainchar. His alignment will be chaotic good(since it matches my reallife alignment;P)Even though I'm good, I'm gonna take Bohdi's side and destroy the shadow-thieves. Anyway, This is how far I've gotten:
Chosen:
Me (Fighter)
Aerie (Cleric/Mage)
Nalia/Imoen (Mage/Thief)
Maybe Korgan (depends because he's evil, but I just feel like having a dual wielding dwarf
This means I'm lacking 1 or 2 frontline fighters, a thief and/or another mage until I get Imoen (Maybe Yoshimo as the thief?) and maybe a more serious archer.
Also, there are some NPC's that I _won't_ have in my party, these include: Jan, Mazzy, Cernd, Jaheira, and Haer'Dalis. Also rule out Viconia since I have played with her every time..
Is there a way to have Korgan and Aerie in the same party the entire game?
I would be grateful of any tips about completing my party.
Thx

Ok
To answer your last question first, yes, you can get the happy party mod (see Weimer's Ease of Use, IIRC) and you can have any combo of characters. That or have 18 CHA / wear the ring of human influence all the time on your main.
Are you looking at Mod NPCs? That gives you some broader (and, in some cases, rather cheesy) choices.
Regardless of what else you do, I'd get Edwin and hack him to a Sorcerer for some serious mage power.
Other than having your PC be a thief - or using the Valen mod - Yoshimo is your only choice for a thief, since you exclude Jan (/boggle) Neither Imoen nor Nalia have significant enough thieving skills to do much - plus he comes with some real cheese potential.
Finally, for melee, your choices are Anomen, Keldorn, Korgan, Minsc and Valygar. They're all pretty viable choices, flavor to taste. I personally despise Korgan, though lots of people think he's great - Anomen can also present complications.
Have fun!

I have given up all lesser evils as inadequate to my purpose.

Not as such
There's no formal, definitive list. Some majour sites are:
Wesley Weimer's MODs - Ascension (ToB), Tactics, Ease of Use, Spell 50, Saolaufein & Valen
Forgotten Wars Kelsey, Keto, Goo, Oversight, Ashes of Embers, and much more
Team BG Epic Endeavours, The Darkest Day, Tortured Souls, Shadows over Soubar, etc.
Fileplanet has some, like Tashia, that are semi-orphans. The reference crossraods above has quite a lot more. Some MODs are incompatible with ToB, some are total conversions.
Playing the vanilla game first is likely best - maybe add Baldurdash, certainly get the latest Bioware patch, if needed.

@BadLoser, why take Korgan if your pc is already a berserker? Then again, you could pick another class or kit for your pc. Try a stalker. A stalker is versatile and can be made into a very tough character.
If you want a serious archer, take Mazzy. Or make your pc an archer.
