keldorn scripting problems?

i have done most of the quest i which you talk to keldorn and his family about sir william of whereever, and have given him my permision to stay with his wife for a day and then come back into my service. the problem is, after 2 days of resting various places and trying to initiate dialoge, i can't. i try to talk to him, and it says that he is busy. i have shadowkeeper, but really have no clue as to what i am doing with it, so if somebody could tell me what kind of variables to fix/add/delete to make him re-join, that would be helpful. thanks.

the "busy" ppl is a bug in the game.
the patch should fix it

nope, dont have the official patcj. seeing as it fixes 'appears busy' dialoge associated with windows xp (which is what i have) this shuold solve the problem. thanks.

actually, since i hae tob installed, the patch wont install and i cant seem to find any official tob patches. does anyone know where they might be at? either that or what to do with the globabl variables in shadowkeeper that might fix this problem. any and all help welcome.

I installed the patch with ToB installed on my machine
