Disarming Traps

Is it possible to disarm traps ?, The only thing I can find on the online manual is about locating traps but not disarming them.

Yes, you can disarm traps. When you find a trap, select the Thieving ability at the bottom of your menu (the same button you use to open locks and pick pockets) and click on the trap. If you succeed, it will be disarmed.
