Aribeth's Ring

I finally figured out Aarin Gend's issue with the amulet in chapter 2. He only gives it to females. But now I have another problem. After I complete the Aribeth's Tale quest in chapter 2, she gives me her ring, whose description says I should keep it if I want her to continue her story. Well when I go to chapter 3, the item is removed from my inventory automatically and it isn't replaced. Is this supposed to happen? How do I get the ring back?

I believe this is a bug that is resolved by patching up to the latest version, although I never experienced. Personally, I think it might only happen if someone has it in the main inventory. I kept my plot items in a box.

the same happen to me in the second chapter, i lost aribeths ring but when i got up to chapter 4 i import my character got back to the second chapter got the ring savee the character and got back to the chapter 4 now i have the ring with me, but didn´t finish the game yet.

I lost it aswell and when I 'needed it' (could use it, but I wouldn't have used it, even if I could) it wasn't there.

You'll probably see (or not, when you don't have the ring) what I mean later on in the game.
