Is there any potions or items that will protect you from being scared??

And how do you do the henchmen quests?

1. I'm pretty sure that a Potion of Clarity will cover all your mind effect problems, either that or boost your wisdom up to help resist charm spells (the school of Fear etc...)

2. Regards this, I'm not sure what you mean, you can check the walkthrough section of Gamebanshee for the details of the quests you want.

The henchman quest begins when you hire a hechman. Talk to him or her and follow the storyline that will follow. If you want an item that protects you from fear you should complete Dalan Red Tigers quest.
