Dual class stronghold question

Post by AndyKen »

1.Can a Fighter dual to Cleric do the Cleric's stronghold quest if doesn't finish the De'Arnise Hold quest or decline Nalia's offer?

2.How can I get the "Ring of Holiness" when finish the Sculpture quest? Must finish Cleric's quest or only require main character is Cleric(or dual to Cleric)?

I believe you will get the first stronghold you do for the class you currently are.

For example, if you do the fighterstronghold-quest when you've already dualed to cleric you won't get it.

2. No idea, never played a cleric
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

Well I know for multi's you get whichever stronghold you do forst, so I'd asume it works the same for duals. But I'm really not sure. And I think there's a fix out there to let you get as many strongholds as your PC has classes, but I'm not quite sure where to get it.

Just clarifying.. you can do it with dual class characters too, just like multiclass. I did it with a fighter(9)/druid(4), so it should work as long as you decline the offer for Nalia's quest.
I would undoubtedly prefer the former...or the latter.

It is part of the Ease of Use mod, available from http://www.weidu.org/ , but be forewarned--it is notoriously buggy (the multi-stronghold component...NOT the entire mod). Also beware of the multi-romance mod...it's been known to cause problems as well.

You can get multiple strongholds - although it is quite sometime ago I played BG2 - so I only remember for a fighter/other class dual/multi class.
Do the Nalia Stronghold first - but don't accept the stronghold immidiately. (belive there is an option for you to think about the offer)
Then do another stronghold quest and accept it - and go back to the Keep-stronghold and accept that one.
