tomes/manuals
Anyone found any stats increasing tomes or manuals in bg2? They seem to exist since they can be edited or cluaconsoled into your inventory.
Maybe they were put there pending a possible expansion pack, or they were in there during development, but couldn't meet the deadline for release so was left out.

I dunno, just guessing. I know they're patching it soon, might add stuff to it. There were alot of stair cases and areas that were conspicuously "Incomplete".
how long has this game been out? Maybe they'll jsut decide to go straight on to BG3 instead.

Er .. dudes, not to make you see the light or anything, but ... ALL of the items of Baldur's Gate I are implemented in BG II. Sure, there are a few different ones (my brother imported a character from a BG I savegame, and the sword had changed - but was similar to what it should have been - the rest of the items were all identical to the BG I stuff).
So you can create ANY item from BG I. As a matter of fact, you can also create any item sold by the two bonus merchants without installing them ... all those items are present in the gamecode already. It seems like they simply took the BG I itemlist and game engine, and expanded upon it, rather than starting from scratch.

I was wondering how one activates the CLUA:console i remember BG's method tried it on BG2 and it doesn't work
But hey your all such innocents i am sure none of you know the answer

I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.
Well, I of course don't know about it...
I don't know that you need to edit your 'baldur.ini' file first. I don't know that under [GAME OPTIONS] you need to place a line 'Debug Mode=1' (without quotes, but mind the CaPiTaLs). And I don't know that when you next start up Baldur's Gate, you can use the CLUAConsole cheat to do various things with the game.
You see, I can't help you. I don't know anything about this.
