I'm stoked. :D I love everything Warcraft. I'm especially interested in the stand-alone orc campaign. Apparently there will be no unit building in it and it will be hewing closer to the RPG qualities War3 was originally going to have. Plus Blizzard has said they may add additions to the orc campaign that can be downloaded off the site. How cool is that?

You bet I'm ready for Frozen Throne! The official Blizzard website has a very good listing of the expansion (units, stats, etc...) and I can't wait to get started on the campaigns. I won't be able to play online for a while yet, but that's never been a problem so far. Love the Pandaren Brewmaster :D

I can't wait to get my hands on the Frozen Throne. I've been waiting for this one. :D

Like Kayless, I love everything Warcraft. Does Blizzard even know how to make a bad game? I tend to think they are constitutionally incapable of it, since the first time I laid hands on the original Warcraft game, I've been hooked. :D

Neo and I had loads of fun playing the Warchasers scenario over the LAN last week. Warcraft is a game that's just plain awesome, whether you go at it single player, or multi-player.

Orcs rule.

Yeah, I'm highly considering it. Maybe I'll give it to my brother for Christmas, if he really doesn't want it sooner. Besides, we have so many games at the moment. :o

I thought Thrall was very cool for an Orc. Here he is, sounding tougher than your normal orc, yet is also quite smart, pondering, and noble. Also, the cinematic with him and Grom Hellscream at the end of the orc campaign in WarCraft III was quite touching, too. For once, Orcs are more unique than ever.

However, I got no further in the game than the third Night Elf mission. I just couldn't get a sizable force to get through an entire base AND THEN SOME.

Well I just finished the Frozen Throne Night Elf campaign. :D Very cool. The orc campaign is awesome too, just like an RPG. I'd better get back to playing it. :)

dang kayless, finished night elf already?!?!

got it yesterday morning, installed, intro movie is as good as the others. ran through most of the first board of night elf campaign.

should find some time in a couple of weeks to put some time into it though.

Kind of nuts it's almost ten years ago I played my first warcraft, the product is still top notch.

Yeah the opening movie is sweet (too bad there's not one after every campaign like War3). Though my favorite movie is The Death of Grom, like Galuf mentioned.

Grom: "I... have... freed myself."
Thrall: "No old friend... You've freed us all."

Don't worry, I bet there'll probably be an ending movie too :) (usually expansions don't have as many bells and whistles are the original).

Yeah, Thrall's definitely become something of a hero, rather than the stereotypical villain that Orcs are so often envisioned as. I hope he goes on to some real cool stuff if their are any other WarCraft incarnations to come (with him, in that case).

Blizzard has made some very impressive games so far, with the WarCraft and Diablo series. Still, will they be able to keep that luster with Bill Roper and few others (if they were key players into these games) gone?

I like what the orcs have become in the present Warcraft incarnation; it's about time they were allowed to be their own masters. I also appreciate the little twist to the Human Alliance with the Blood Elves' use of demonic magic.

I wonder, to be honest with you. It remains to be seen. I don't think we ever need worry about these things concerning future Warcraft installments, as the series is so well-established that in a very real sense, it can carry itself along quite well independent of outside assistance. The Warcraft story has steadily been gaining momentum since the original Warcraft game years ago (I recall buying that one when it hit the shelves :D ), becoming more elaborate as time passed.

I've been very impressed with Blizzard over the years. They consistently create top-notch games that are infinitely replayable, whether it's a RTS like Warcraft (although Frozen Throne knocks a few RPG doors down), Starcraft, or the Diablo series. I'm not overly concerned about them. ;)
