Jon Irenicus = Jon Icarus?

Post by JonIrenicus »

I have a picture I got in bg1 talking about an arch mage by the name of Jon Icarus. It reminded me as Jon Irenicus. Also Prism and Bodi(as spelt in bg1) are also mentioned. Thought I would let you know :)

I knew it, and it has been debated over here (or at the BG-forum) I think.
But it's true that the names show some resemblance

[EDIT] And welcome to the board
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

I played a bit of the wholesale conversion of BG1 into BG2 and the guy who did the it changed the text to Jon Irenicus for the incounter with the spider lady. I thought it fit well. Didn't play it all the way through but he said he made other changes as well.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Sry to go off topic but I hadn't played bg1 for so long and you just reminded me of my first meet with Prism. I read a few lines of what he had to say and thought he was...well...gay or something... :p
The sinister majesty of the summoning chamber served as a pointed reminder to the one-eyed assassin that Krollir Venastin - the Righteous Man - was not only the guildmaster for the Night Knives but a servant of Mask the Shadowlord

@Krollir, welcome to Gamebanshee. If you want to post off-topic, though, please go to the SYM (Speak Your Mind) forum, where you can do so at leisure. Thanks. :)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
