Now that is an invitation I can't refuse

Last time I was out that way it was a few years ago in October.
I drove to Tyler, to Flagstaff, then to Baja.

The coolest part of the trip though was pulling into Albuquerque just before sunrise on the first day of the Balloon Races. The sky was filled with hundreds of balloons all lighting up and different intervals from the burners. The sky was still lit with stars, and the horizon had only the faintest hints of blush in the east. It was a remarkable sight, litteraly took my breath away. Maybe if I time it right, I could see it again. ;)

LOL......Well, I don't know about how healthy it is, but if you are really concerned about the nutrition content, you could have a bloodymary with a stick of cellery and some beef broth.

That is a ballanced meal :D

Rabbits: Rats with floppy ears. :D :p

Actually, beer contains digestible protein. 12 ounces of beer contains one gram of protein. Used in moderation *cough* *cough* :D , mild alcohol consumption can be beneficial to you - at least, a number of studies suggest this. ;)

Bringing up this topic reminds me of the theory of several archaeologists and anthropologists...human civilization came about because a number of human groups into agriculture began brewing beer. In a way, this makes sense. After all, the Egyptians were brewing beer thousands of years ago. :D

Think of it this way:

1. Alcohol destroys brain cells
2. If Darwin's theory of natural selection holds true for cells as well as whole creatures then the brain cells that go first are the "undesirable" ones.
3. Killing the weak brain cells effectively increases the overall health of the brain by removing the weaker cells leaving only the better cells.

Therefore drinking alcohol strengthens the brain by removing the elements that are holding it back. Of course by this theory, this makes BS the smartest guy here. *ponders* * scratches head*

Well, it's a good excuse anyway :D Cheers!

@Fas: Oh shut up, junior. Go drink your mead and kill some brain cells. :p

@Flibble: It sure beats what a Japanese centenarian, who celebrated his 106th birthday back in the early 90s, claimed was responsible for his long life. Every day, he would drink a concoction composed of...er, his own body fluids, for lack of a better way of putting it. Makes a beer in the evening look rather attractive, I assure you.

Besides, the majority of people rarely use their brain cells, anyway. What's a few million dead every year? ;)
