Wizard advancement

Post by Lord Donovan »

How do I get advanced to Wizard? Do I need a minimum of stats or what? I have no more mage quests to complete.

Thanks!

I think you have to get a wizard's staff - if I remember correctly.

Yep, you need a wizard's staff. If you speak to whoever's advancing you they should mention it.

Spoiler?

Been a while since I played, but IIRC there are two ways to get it. One is to go to some place out in the boondocks and get it from someone. The other is to just pay to have it made (around 5000?). I always choose to just pay for it, since I hate travelling long distances and I usually have large amounts of coin stockpiled somewhere.
"Game Balance" is getting all players to complain equally.

You also need minimum skills levels. Check your inventory screen. There's a list of all guilds & house you have joined. Cursor over Mage's Guild, and see the requirement to advance to the next level.
