possible problem with challenge rooms in Abyssal Fortress

Post by InSilentSound »

another weird question: what governs what the challenge rooms turn into in the abyssal fortress?

I'm a Neutral Good character, and the first turned from lava to something non-lava like, but the second turned from the calm glade with the healing pools to the lava filled room... what gives?

I think it has something to do with how you resolve the challenges.

For example..*hilight to read* SPOILER

If you attack the apparition in the first challenge, it's seen as evil and you get one transformation. If you wiat him out until he attacks you, you get the second transformation.

Um... I hate to say it, but there isn't any option to attack the guy in the first one. Do you mean the second / third / etc one?

I got my wires crossed...it's a fairly common occurance for me :D

It's been awhile and things are getting blurry for me. For some reason, I had this confused with something totally non related. :D

I still think it has to do with the dialog options as to what happens in the chalenge rooms when they change. I just can't remember the dialog options anymore ;)

Think of it this way. Its easy to become evil, because if you do evil things, you are evil in people's eyes.

On the other hand, if an evil person does good things, does this make him good? Nope - he has to do some work to convince people he's good. Its like climbing a mountain - its a lot harder to go up than down.
