Up near the ceiling there's a gate valve wheel; activate it to raise the water level and unblock the sewer grate.Originally posted by gekk0lias

Any posts that I have read on this say that to become a vampire one must be bitten. Exactly how this is accomplished is unknown to me, as the only times I came in contact with vampires was/is after I was cured of Corprus, and I have no interest in becoming a vampire to learn about it.
There is a web site that does say that one can become a vampire using the dust as a potion, but that has never shown up in any of the 4 forums I inhabit.
One can eat ingredients to acquire their affects, but by far the best way is to create potions. I can give no advice here either as I (and my characters) have no interest in alchemy.

The only way to become a vampire is to take melee damage from one until it says "You have contracted (couple of fancy syllables)phlia" Then you have to wait three days until you become one or cure yourself with a cure common disease potion.
Also in reference to the quest with the mad woman I would like to say that underground place was the only time I died after completing the expansion...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
