if you've collected all the good stuff in morrowind, you might want to look at some of the mods...

sheikizza's stuff looks incredible...

jeremy's knights series I just finished downloading...

look at the yellowpages for link to morrowind summit...

The Helm of Oreyn Bearclaw is a must have. It's classified as heavy armor, has tremendous armor points and is CE fortify endurance and fortify agility (I think).

The Mask of Clavicus Vile is also extremely nice (CE +40 to Personality) and has a high armor rating.

The Boots of the Apostle are very stylish. High armor rating and they cast a very long Levitate spell.

There are those fabulous gauntlets in the cave where you get zapped with corprus disease. One is CE fortify strength and the other is CE fortify something else.

If you want to enchant your own you can pick up a daedric or ebony tower shield. Maybe put a point or two of CE slowfall, CE restore health, etc.

Don't forget to get a complete set of exquisite clothing and put CE enchantments on those as well. A powerful CE nighteye item makes spellunking caves a breeze. Maybe a nice CE fortify luck as well. Also you can simultaneously wear a skirt, pants, robe, belt and shirt with each other and your armor. Shoes are the exception as they can't be worn with boots.

It may not be armor but you'll want the CE rings and amulets like Mara's Ring (not sure of the spelling), Ring of Phynaster, etc.

there is a nice, very nice looking set of pauldrons I downloaded from morrowind summit for the grotto armor...

looks way cool, and I still have to admit to having a certain fondness for the grotto armor...

though if you play dark elf, it is not all that useful...you already got a lot of fire protection...

i'd have to say the Dragonbone Cuirass

out mods.
