Hope someone can help me. Having worked my way through chapter 2 I still have 2 quests left in my Journal listed as unfinished. (Spoiler Warning).
These are "Investigate the deaths in Umar Hills", & tells me I have to speak to Minister Lloyd Wainwright, but in the Completed quests section I already have "Madulf & the Village come to an arrangement" & "The murders of Umar Hills have been stopped". If I return to Umar Hills to speak to Minister Lloyd Wainright nothing happens.
The next is "Solve the "Skinner" murders in the bridge district".
This tells me that Rejik was in league witha mage who has spirited him away, not sure if this is where it ends. In the completed section I have "Solve the "Skinner" murders in the bridge district" & it says that I stopped the reign of terror & Aegisfield has been informed.
Now, can anyone please tell me how to get theose 2 remaining quests finished, as is seems to me like they are already completed?
Many Thanks.
TT.
Quests left in journal (Spoiler)
I'm not sure about the first (sounds like a bug), but the second one continues for a little while. If you have the piece of paper from the mage you killed under Reijek's hideout you have a few clues on what to do (it's called "tanner's letter" or something)
(spoilers)
#1 There's a guy outside the inn in the Umar Hills that you need to speak to. Buy History of the Zhentarim from him and a dialogue box pops up and he asks you what his name is. (The puzzle is in the note, so stop reading this paragraph if you want to solve it yourself.) The answer is something like Darcien Cole, the spelling is probably not exact. If you answer his question correctly you can make a powerful but costly suit of leather armor, or you can wreak some vengeance, whatever you prefer (the armor can only be worn by evil characters).
#2 In Trademeet, after you've solved all the other quests (druid grove, merchants and tomb) you'll be approached by someone asking for your help. You can figure out what to do from there.
Hope that helps.

"Game Balance" is getting all players to complain equally.

Did you finish these quests in the same chapter?
I haven't run into this with those two quests but I have with the planar prison. If you don't complete the quest in the same chapter it started, your journal shows the quest as unfinished in one chapter & completed in the other. As I like a clean journal, I always start & finish the planar prison in the same chapter and it works properly.
