Caithin & Boring beetles

I have two problems:

Caithin seems to be indestructible no matter how much I attack her she remains uninjured.

I have killed the boring beetle nest but whenever I go back to Oswald loads of the things follow me in and I can't kill them fast enough to clear.

HELP!!!

Did you retrieve Oswalds items from the Nest? It says in my manual that unless the nest is fully destroyed that they will keep spawning making it imposible to rest.

beetle nest

The nest is completely empty. Should the line round it to indicate somethings there disappear?

I forget, but I'll look just to make sure. I think you need to attack the nest. Highlight your Weapon Icon on the task bar, and attact the nest. I believe it has hitpoints. Did you do this? It says in my manual that fire is very effective. Have you retrieved the stolen items of Oswalds' yet.

beetles

Yes I did attack nest and it died, I took all items out of the nest, I now have all of the things Oswald needs to repair the airship but I cannot get to the table to put them on it as too many beetles. When I enter the airship, they are not there initially but they appear and multiply so fast I can't do anything about them!

Is it a bug I wonder!

Same problem with Caithin

I can't even damage Caithin. I even tried using the "enable cheat keys" cheat, but she just won't die. Can anybody help with this problem?

Beetles

Thanks for replies I have solved the problem, it seems that I did not destroy the nest quickly enough the first time. I went back to the crash of the airship went out and immediately destroyed the nest before attacking anything else and it now seems OK no more beetles phew!!!.

I now have to work my way back to the ice temple to see if the caithin problem still applies.

I have also just got a new PC so will have to reinstall game, fingers crossed.

Made it back to the Ice temple and Cathin was a doddle must have been something to do with how I got there last time, also now on new PC so new installation maybe that has something to do with it.

Remember to get Oswald to make som armors out of the Beetle scales.
