ps2 online gaming

Post by ps2ordeath »

Hey, I was just wondering what online games other ps2 fans are most looking forward to getting. Personally, I can't wait for NCAA gamebreaker 2004...let's face it, there's not much you can change year to year in a football game other that small stuff, but this year it's going online, and i'm pretty excited about that, supposed to have a much better lobby than the EA sports version too. No more playing the computer for me!

What games are you guys looking forward to?

I just wanted to add that NFL Gameday also looks incredible and since I'm pretty hardcore about the games, gameday is definitely on my list too...also the putting seniors from gamebreaker onto teams in gameday is a sweet feature too.

Don't have a console at the moment, but if I did, Madden 2004 would be at the top of my list :D

Madden, what are you a drunk...maybe that would be a good idea in 2002, but not for this year. Gameday is the game to get this year, it's just sad that so many people fail to realize that this year Gameday is going to be the best NFL game.

I've played most every foorball game I can think of, I still prefer Madden. If you want to discuss the reasons, that's fine...just don't expect to convince me to change my mind. ;)

If you just want to argue about how sad it is that everyone doesn't share your own personal opinion in hopes of getting a rise out of me, don't waste your time.

I have never spoken to you before, and don't really know what tone you meant your previous post to take. If it's the former, welcome to the board and I'll argue with you civilly all day. If it's the latter, let it go.

The FORMER! sorry, i jut get a little bit excited about Gameday and Gamebreaker.

One of the features I love so much for both of them, is that when playing online, you can download weather reports of the stadium you'll play in. I think that's just going the extra mile. Features like that turn me onto to buying Gamebreaker. I also love the gameplay.

bleh...

I don't know why I'm, just not a fan of console online gaming, hence I stick to PC MMOs. (Currently awaiting: Horizons and am currently playing SWG).

man, are kidding me!? it's so easy to set up console online gaming. at least it is for ps2. i was concerned it might be a hassle. no, setting up online ps2 is a breeze compared to anything else i've set up online. now all i have to do is the hard part, wait for Gamebreaker to come out.

ROFL! Maybe it's because today was a rather boring day, but that just might be the funniest thing I've heard all day!

ESPN NFL Football by Sega Sports is the best football out there in terms of graphics and gamegplay. This series has been the best since NFL2K debuted on Dreamcast. I know its online on XBOX but I'm not sure about PS2.

I didn't really bounce Eeyore. I had a cough, and I happened to be behind Eeyore, and I said "Grrrr-oppp-ptschschschz."

The same could be said about Gamebreaker too ;) As for me, NFL blows :p I'll be waiting for the next football installment of FIFA but won't be getting it. By the time I can afford a new PC, the 2005 release should be out.

Console games are fun but the PC versions will now be compatible with the Football Manager series
