I can't seem to get rid of these lousy swords. How?

There are many ways, it all comes down to your class and wich (if any) hencman you are using.

The easiest way, is simply to use Stone of Recall often.

Using the greater swordsman belt also helps a lot.

What I did was let my henchman charge them while I went behind the staircase thingie. Then, I would creep my head out from behind and lure the swords back there one by one to fight them.

With my Halfling fighter/rogue I sneaked past them and then lured them out one at a time by shooting them. Was much easier, but even then it was the last thing I did in Chapter One, they're a bit tough.

With a pure cleric i had, I used all spells i had for Negative Energy Rays - 1 for a summon. My summon and henchman would take hits while i sat back and fired off the spells. Once i ran out, i exited, rested, and went in again.

Some spoilers:

They are a part of the quest you can get from Oleff the priest in the Hall of Justice (same guy that gives the writt declaring you plauge free so you can visit the upper levels in the brothle)

He tasks you to find the tombs of Never (and his gang or something).
The tombs are located one in each map with the first being found in Peninsula district.
In that tomb you find/get a journal that hints to the location of the other 3 tombs.
If I remember right, the Tomb of Never is located in the Docks disctrict, and the journal hints it being located in the aqueduct.

I can't remember the excat location (I bet somebody else can) but if following the storyline you should have a hard time missing it. There is a time when running around beneeth the aqueduct when you need to go through a tunnel to get to Callik(just before getting to him - you should hear Callik and the other guy argue when moving through it .... I think :D ), there is a door nearby locked with a chest with the riddle to open it.
You shouldn't really be able to miss it. :)

Actually the real never tomb with the sword are in the blacklake behind a bookcase. Theres a litle girl outside the house and you can peruade her to tel you the word to get past it or you can just talk to her mother inside. Thendown there theres some level determined undead and a chest and the chest with the note.

Piece of cake

I've done it with a fighter, a monk & a druid; & all without a henchman (no henchman mens more experience per victory). I just ran around in circles until I only had to fight one & then turned & fought. Once I took to much damage I started running again until I got my hit points back (ring of regeneration) or, used a potion, or used the recall stone. Takes a while but worth the experience. One more thing...I also waited until I knew I wouldn't level up anymore before leaving Neverwinter.

I play with elf cleric(death & air domains) and I destroy them with a Call lightning spell-this is the easiest way to get rid of them

I have played with several characters and classes and I think the best class are Cleric (elf .air /death domain) and Monk(half-orc with STR >20).
They easily kill even Klauth-red dragon in chapter 3(hardest fight in the game,I think)
With the spell GATE, many HP, healing spells & combat training CLERIC is the best class in NWN!!!!!
And what do you think???????
I wait for your opinions

A discussion about what classes are "the best" should proberly go into another thread, seeing as it would be off topic in this one.

So feel free to continue such a discussion in a new thread :)

I only tried to say that in fight with few strong monsters( like Swords of NEVER) cleric and monk are more cappable than other classes( maybe without sorcerer or wizzard - but they have few HP)
I ended NWN with fighter, paladin, cleric ,monk, druid and the divine spellcasters are better suitable to melee than arcane.
This is my opinion so you don't need to agree with this.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ELVES ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!

?????????????OR HALF-ORCs?????????????????
hmmmmmm
I better think about this :-)
