Wireless desktop and Printer search

I'm looking at printers and wireless desktops (for a new laptop going to school with me). The printers are the canon i450 @ $60 and the lexmark z605 @ $50. And then the wireless desktops are the microsoft wireless optical desktop @ $80 and the logitec optical wireless desktop @ $60. Right now I'm leaning towards the canon and the logitec. Anyone know where I can read user reviews and whatnot or have personal experience. Also if you know of quality stuff for cheaper please fill me in. Thanks for any help.

I've had a fair bit of experience with several different wireless desktop systems, and currrently have the MIcrosoft one at the moment. The keyboard is very good, but the mouse leaves something to be desired. I don't know why they still make 2 button mice anymore, especially for high end products.

I'd say go with the Logitech one. I had a play with one after I got the Microsof tone, and had a sudden attack of jealousy!

Also definitely go with the Canon printer. Lexmark do very nice laser printers, but I've found their inkjet printers to be a bit flakey and certainly of lesser quality than Canon or HP.

@Mr. Flibble: would you happen to know which version of the logitech one you used?

Researching more I've found that there are 4 versions of the logitech one. They are all called cordless desktop duo; however, there is an elite version, a navigator version, a comfort version and an access version. They also sell one that comes with a higher end mouse called mx but the keyboard is the same as the elite. The comfort one is out because it's one of those split keyboards, which I'm against. When I went price shopping at stores I was stupid and did not record all the info about the product I saw so I know the office depot near my house has one of them for $60. If it's the elite, for which the best price I have found online is $55, I'll just buy it there but this means I must continue to search.

Cordless MX Duo. Loved the mouse, but not the price tag. Sadly a lot of computer gear is very expensive here, so I can't comment on prices. That keyboard and mouse combo is about NZ$300 here. Roughly US$160.
