argh. I just started playing BG2 again and I used that dungeon be gone thingy to skip Irenicus' dungeon.
However, now that I'm out, when I try to speak to people in Amn, half of them are busy! It gives me that little message thats like 'So-and-so appears to be busy and cannot talk' or something. It''s quite annoying because I can't talk to hardly anyone. Boo hoo.
Sorry if this is a bit vague, but its quite late. And blurgh. Thanks for any replies
everyones busy!

When you have problems with running older games under XP,
you could try running them in windows 95/98 mode.
rightclick the icon and you can change it under properties.
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

Problem is, many older games require direct access to genuine DOS, which is the platform on which Windows 98/ME still runs. Windows 2000/XP is ostensibly faster (though Microsoft absorbs any speed dividends with feature bloat, IMO), but there's no longer any real DOS. It only has a simulated DOS, a series of DOSlike commands generated within Windows, itself. That's why a lot of products that require DOS won't run in Win2000/XP.
And that's one reason I won't switch to it, either.
