Anomalies (minor spoilers)

Post by fable »

I've sometimes noticed in battle that while I can select feats for my lead party character, the others I'm running have no such options. This is odd, because 1) if the game isn't paused, they're firing or hitting things, 2) they're right in the thick of the fight, and 3) they certainly do have feats, and the right weapons in hand to use 'em.

For example, towards the beginning of the game, I had only my scout and Carth in a party. It was the incident with the bounty hunters. My scout was blasting away merrily, and so was Carth, but only the scout had a series of attack options available. Carth did have grenades, and I think he has rapid shot; in any case, as he was firing, I should have had attack options showing in the options menu. I didn't. It only displayed an adrenal booster and "open."

Any idea why those attack options weren't displaying? (And while we're on the subject, how do you switch the Targeted Enemy bullseye? Too often, swinging a party PC around hasn't changed a thing.) Thanks.

If you had the 'open' option available, carth was probably targeted on a footlocker or something. He'd still fire at an enemy I imagine if the AI was on, even if the default targeting when selecting him showed an object other than an enemy.

The combat feats will only show up: 1. in combat and 2. if you have an enemy highlighted during combat.

As far as switching targeted enemy, do you mean using the left and right triggers of the controller?
Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.

I must have missed that in the manual. So the trigges control the enemey your party members target? If that's the case, you answered my question.
